MAYAN ROUTE PROGRAM (4 weeks)

For those students interested in learning more about ancient cultures, such as the Mayan, we have a great itinerant program that will take place in south region of Mexico . Take this opportunity to learn about a place full of traditions, folklore and historical millenary sites.

The itinerary: The program will start in the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez in the state of Chiapas and will continue to the cities of Palenque , San Cristobal de las Casas , Campeche , Mérida , Playa del Carmen and an optional long weekend trip to the beautiful beaches of Cancún.

 
 
 
    The program includes trips and excursions to places such as:

Chichén-Itzá
One of the most important political, religious and commercial centers of the Mayan civilization and voted one of the 7 wonders of the modern world.

The Sumidero Canyon
A spectacular natural park where you will have the opportunity to ride a boat and navigate through the canyon's impressive wallsy.

Xcaret
An eco park that during the day offers you adventure and fun through its many activities and at night becomes the setting for experiencing Mexican culture, dances and music through a performance that will take you into a journey through time and history.
